Part 4 of Catching up: Snow Day

"Snow Day" turned into SNOW DAYS

After the holidays, I got a great treat to visit my cute Nieces in Texas. We had 2 days of freedom of the "Record breaking Snowstorm".I think being cooped up for 4 days I gained my holiday weight eating all the carbs. AAAUGH ! ! !
My Sister-in-law,Lisa and I love to make recipes together.
She's joined the ranks of the blog also. Pretty proud of my lil' Sis,
Check her blog out http://rachandme.blogspot.com
But we went a little stir crazy being "Snowed in" for those days. We made Betty Crocker's Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies to start of. See we were being health conscious ... Then. Check out the nutritional data on these. But then again, I got carried away with her LARGE ice cream scooper and made bigger cookies. Lisa named them "softball sized" Check out the pic

Betty Crocker's Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Nothing is more delicious than a warm, chewy chocolate chip cookie. Using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose makes this a contender for the best-tasting cookie ever!

Make the Most of This Recipe With Tips From The Betty Crocker® Kitchens
Did You Know...
The word cookie comes from the Dutch word for cake, "koekje". The first cookies were actually tiny cakes baked as a test to make sure that the oven temperature was right for baking a larger cake.
Variation
Feeling a little nutty? Go ahead and add 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts with the chocolate chips.
